On 16 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, together with Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, participated in the ASEAN Family Bowling Tournament, organised by the Embassy of Lao PDR in Canberra, as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Canberra. The tournament included competitions in categories of ASEAN Heads of Missions or representatives and Country Teams. Team Philippines won the competition and retained its championship, while Team Thailand came in third place. The games provided an opportunity to promote friendship and camaraderie between families of ASEAN members.
