On 24 July 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Group Captain Nawamarat Prapattong, Defence and Air Attaché, visited Lavarack Barracks in Townsville, Queensland. They were welcomed by Air Commodore Chris Robson, Commander Space Forces Group and Joint Force Space Component Commander, Australian Defence Force, and briefed about space demonstration exercises, which form part of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025. The Ambassador also met with Thai defence personnel participating in this part of the Exercise for the first time.

 

Earlier, on 13 July 2025, the Ambassador had attended the opening ceremony of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025 held on board HMAS Adelaide in Sydney. Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025, held from 13 July to 4 August 2025, takes place in different locations in Australia, with participation of military personnel from 19 countries, including Thailand.
