On 3 February 2023, Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador-designate of Thailand, met Dr. Michael Fullilove, Executive Director, Lowy Institute in Sydney. Both sides discussed works of the Institute and exchanged views on issues of mutual interests, including possible ways and means to further strengthen the existing close and cordial bilateral relations between Thailand and Australia, as well as the role of Australia in the Southeast Asian region. Consul-General Hattaya Khusakul, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Sydney and Director Susannah Patton, Southeast Asia Programme, Lowy Institute also joined the meeting.
