e-Visa

The Royal Thai Embassy will launch a completely online stickerless e-Visa application system from 19 March 2024 onwards.

 

 

Who can apply?

1. Residents of Australia in Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, South Australia, and Northern Territory. Those who reside in New South Wales are required to submit applications to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney.

2. Residents of countries under the jurisdiction of the Embassy which are Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, and Kiribati.

What are required documents?

– Required documents for each type of visa can be viewed in the Application Portal (keep scrolling down there).

– Non-Australian residents in Australia has to provide VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) in the category of documents indicating current location.

– For Multiple Entry TR (Tourist) visa, we require a bank statement in the past six months showing a deposit account with the minimum fund of THB 200,000 or equivalent.

· The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary as well as reject any application without prejudice.

· If the applicants are found to provide false documents or give false information, their applications will be rejected and be reported for further determination of appropriate action and future prohibition to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

· Once submitted, the e-Visa applicants are not able edit any piece of information (If any).

· The visa application fee is non-refundable. Hence, the applicants are strongly advised to thoroughly read the User Manual and double check the information they provide to the system before submission. 

· The visa application fee is subject to change without prior notice.

· E-Visa processing time is 10 business days. However, it make take up to 4-6 weeks for some cases.

· Successful applicants will receive their e-Visa via email and must print out the e-Visa to be presented to airlines and the Thai Immigration Bureau.
