Thailand chaired the ASEAN Committee in Canberra Meeting 2/2021

On 25 June 2021, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, chaired
the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) Heads-of-Mission Meeting 2/2021 at the Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra, which was attended by ASEAN Heads of Mission and their representatives. The Meeting reviewed the various activities and engagements from January to June 2021,in promoting ASEAN-Australia relations, among others, the importance of the return of ASEAN students to continue their studies in Australia.  At this meeting, Ambassador Busadee handed overthe ACC Chairmanship to HE Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ambassador of Viet Nam for July-December 2021.  The ACC Chairmanship rotates every six months alphabetically amongst ASEAN Embassies/High Commissions in Canberra.
