Thai Ambassador visited Food Innovation Centre, CSIRO, Melbourne
On 5 August 2024 H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, joined the meeting between the delegation led by Prof. Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR, and senior executives of Food Innovation Centre, CSIRO, Melbourne. Also attending were Assoc. Prof. Thongchai Suwonsichon, Director of Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), Thailand and Assoc. Prof. Siree Chaiseri, Chairperson, National Quality Infrastructure (NQI Program Board), and Former Director of PMUC, Thailand.
Both sides exchanged views on ways and opportunities for promoting cooperation on research in the food and agriculture sector, including advanced food manufacturing and processing, food design and ensuring food security along food supply chain.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited the Pilot Plant, which is an advanced food laboratory of CSIRO in Melbourne.
