Thai Ambassador visited Ellinbank Smart Farming in Victoria to explore agriculture and livestock cooperation.

On 14 August 2024, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Mrs. Hattaya Khusakul, Consul-General of Thailand to Sydney, met with senior executives of Ellinbank Smart Farming in Gippsland, Victoria.

Both sides exchanged views on ways and opportunities for collaboration on research, innovation and management know-how in diary farming to increase productivity in a sustainable way.

The delegation was also briefed about and given a site visit of the diary farm which demonstrates advanced techniques and use of technologies aiming at increasing milk production, reducing methane emission from cows, and improving fertilizers and manure management practices.
