Minister for Foreign Affairs hosted a Dinner for ASEAN Ambassadors and High Commissioners

On 21 October 2021, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, joined ASEAN Ambassadors and High Commissioners in attending a dinner hosted by Senator The Honourable Marise Payne, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).  H.E. Ms Kathryn Campbell, DFAT Secretary, Mr Craig Chittick, First Assistant Secretary of the US & Indo-Pacific Strategy Division and Mr Ridwaan Jadwat, First Assistant Secretary of the Southeast Asia Division were also present.  Minister Payne stressed the importance of ASEAN-Australia relations and Australia’s commitment to enhance cooperation with ASEAN, as well as  to strengthen the partnership to address future challenges in the Indo-Pacific.
