Ceremony on the Occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great Memorial Day on 13 October 2022

On 12 October 2022 at 1000 hrs, H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presided over a ceremony to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra. The commemorative activities included laying wreath, observing 89 seconds of silence and merit making. Heads of Team Thailand Agencies represented in Canberra, officials and spouses together with members of the Australia-Thailand Association, Canberra (ATA), and representatives of the Thai community attended the said ceremony. The activities organised are testimony of the most profound respect and deepest gratitude towards the late monarch for His tireless dedication and compassion for the Thai people throughout His reign of seventy years.
