Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban is Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia. She previously served as Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand from 2019 to 2022.

Prior to that, Ms. Sriratanaban was Ambassador Attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2018-2019) responsible for international security issues and the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs (2017-2018), and Bureau Director of the Office of Policy and Planning (2015-2017). She also worked in the Japan-Thailand Economic Partnership (2004-2006) and Department of Information (2006-2011).

Her earlier overseas assignments included the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations in New York, covering social, humanitarian and cultural issues (Third Committee) (2000-2004), and the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., as Minister-Counsellor (2011-2015).

A native of Bangkok, Ms. Sriratanaban graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. She obtained a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (M.A.L.D.) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, United States.
