Ambassador of Thailand speaks at the Asia Pacific Week 2021 Conference

On 24 June 2021, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand was invited as a speaker at the Asia Pacific Week 2021 Conference held between 21-24 June 2021, organised by students and young professionals of the Australian National University (ANU).  Ambassador Busadee participated in the session of “Women in Diplomacy: New Voices and Emerging Perspectives” together with Ms Julie-Ann Guivarra, Ambassador for Gender Equality and Ms Elizabeth McGregor, Assistant Secretary of Asia Branch, International Division of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.  The panel exchanged perspectives on the role of women in diplomacy and the importance of promoting gender equality.  Ambassador Busadee also exchanged views with the students on the role of ASEAN in meeting the geo-strategic challenges and maintaining constructive relations within the Indo-Pacific region.
