Ambassador of Thailand participates in the Asialink Canberra Summit
On 28 February 2022, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand participated as speaker at the Asialink Canberra Summit’s Panel Session held at the Boat House, Canberra. The panel was chaired by HE Mr Kwok Fook Seng, High Commissioner of Singapore and joined by Dr. Siswo Pramono, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia. The panel was welcomed by Mr Peter Varghese AO, Asialink Advisory Council Chair, Chancellor of the University of Queensland and former Secretary of DFAT. In exploring Australia’s engagement with the Indo-Pacific at the federal and national level, the event was held for ASEAN Ambassadors to provide insights and experiences on their engagements with Australia towards strengthening ASEAN-Australia collaboration to create economic prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. The Asialink Canberra Summit is the culmination of the Asialink Leaders Program which aims to equip participants who are professionals from all sectors, including business, government, the arts and the media, with skills to engage confidently with Asia.
