Ambassador of Thailand participates in ASEAN Committee in Canberra Meeting No. 3/2021

On 22 July 2021, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand participated in the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) Meeting No.3/2021 chaired by HE Mr Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ambassador of Viet Nam and ACC Chair (for July-December 2021), at the Hyatt Canberra.  The meeting discussed activities to be carried out during Viet Nam’s Chairmanship such as ASEAN Day celebration as well as possible meetings with senior officials of Australia to strengthen ASEAN-Australia relations.  The meeting also agreed to pursue with the relevant authorities on the issue of ASEAN students continuing their studies in Australia.
