Ambassador of Thailand met with The Honourable Scott Buchholz MP

On 1 June 2021, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, was invited to meet with The Honourable Scott Buchholz, Assistant Minister for Road Safety and Freight Transport and Member of Parliament for Wright, Queensland, at Parliament House.  Both sides discussed the importance of post-COVID-19 economic recovery and possibilities to strengthen labour relations between Thailand and Australia through Queensland.  They also agreed that the safe re-opening of international borders is vital to further enhance people-to-people ties especially for the return of international students to continue their studies in Australia.  In addition, Mr. John Alexander, MP, Bennelong, New South Wales and former Australian renowned professional tennis player also joined the friendly meeting.
