Ambassador-designate of Thailand met Global Victoria in Melbourne exchanged views on promotion of trade and investment between Thailand and Australia

On 6 February 2023 during 13.30-14.15 hrs., Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador-designate of Thailand, met with Ms. Sara Sahely, Director – Global Engagement, Global Victoria Ms. Rebecca Hall, Commissioner – Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office, Southeast Asia, and Ms. Laura Burke, Regional Manager – Southeast Asia, Global Victoria in Melbourne. Both sides exchanged views on promotion of trade and investment between Thailand and Australia in areas of mutual interest, such as food and agricultural products, education and cooperation between universities in Thailand and the state of Victoria, as well as implementation of related and priority areas in the Joint Plan of Action to Implement the Thailand-Australia Strategic Partnership 2022-2025 and the Strategic Economic Cooperation Arrangement (SECA), signed between the governments of Thailand and Australia..
