Ambassador of Thailand delivered a Keynote Address at the Asialink Leaders Canberra Summit 2022

On 16 August 2022, at the invitation of Asialink Business, University of Melbourne,        HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand gave a Keynote Address on ‘Regional Challenges and Opportunities for ASEAN: a Thai Perspective’ at the Asialink Leaders Canberra Summit 2022 held at the Boat House, Canberra.  Ambassador Busadee shared her views on the importance of ASEAN’s role in promoting regional peace, security and prosperity in meeting global challenges.  Following the address, a panel discussion on the role of Quad and their cooperation was discussed by Mr Suneet Mehta, Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission of India; Mr Tadaatsu Mori, Minister, Embassy of Japan; Mr Michael Goldman, Deputy Chief of Mission, US Embassy and Mr Scott Dewar, Deputy Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet of Australia. The Asialink Canberra Summit is part of the Asialink Leaders Program which aims to equip participants who are professionals from all sectors, including government, business, the arts and the media, with skills to engage confidently with Asia.
