8th Bali Process Ministerial Conference in Adelaide

On 9-12 February 2023, H.E. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand and Head of Delegation of Thailand, together with Police General Surachate Hakparn, Deputy Director-General, Royal Thai Police and Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Deputy Director-General, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 8th Bali Process Ministerial Conference in Adelaide.  The conference was co-chaired by Senator the Hon Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, and H.E. Retno Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.  Established in 2002, the Bali Process aims to raise regional awareness of the consequences of people sumggling, trafficking in persons and related transnational crime and acts as a forum for policy dialogue, information sharing and practical cooperation to help the region address these challenges.

Furthermore, Ambassador Arjaree also attended the reception hosted by H.E. the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, at Government House.
