ASEAN Committee in Canberra calls on the Governor of Victoria

On 7 December 2020, H.E. Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, together with the ASEAN Committee in Canberra, comprising ten ASEAN Ambassadors led by H.E. Mr. Kwok Fook Seng, Ambassador of Singapore as Chair, paid a virtual call on the Hon Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria. The ACC and the Governor of Victoria exchanged views on the challenges of the pandemic and opportunities for further cooperation following the recovery from COVID-19. The ACC also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Victoria for the support and assistance provided to the communities and students during the COVID-19 pandemic faced in Victoria. Moreover, both sides reaffirmed the intention to further strengthen relations between ASEAN and the State of Victoria in potential areas of mutual interest.
