Ceremony to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on 13 October 2020

On 13 October 2020 at 1000 hrs, Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy, presided over a ceremony to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra. The activities organised for the ceremony included candle-lighting, observing 89 seconds of silence and merit making, and were attended by the heads of offices under Team Thailand in Canberra, the Embassy’s officials, staff and their spouses as well as Thai community in Canberra, in compliance with the current ACT Government’s Guidelines on COVID-19 restrictions.
