Thai community in Western Australia organised “Australian Bushfires – Donation Dinner Concert”

On 18 January 2020, the Thai community in Western Australia organised “Australian Bushfires – Donation Dinner Concert” at Olympic Kingsway Sports Club in Perth. The purpose of this Dinner Concert was to raise the fund to support the bushfires relief and recovery. More than 400 people from various nationalities in Western Australia and representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy attended the event.

Later, on 22 January 2020, Ms. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., on behalf of the community from Western Australia, presented a bank cheque at the amount of 16,895 Australian Dollars, which is a donation generated from the said Dinner Concert, to Mr. Mark Duggan, Manager, Australian Red Cross for ACT, to help support the bushfire relief and recovery endeavour.
