Thailand overjoyed as missing boys found.

 

Gen. Prayuth Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand extended his thanks to rescuers and the international experts for their support and cooperation rendering to the Royal Thai Government on a joint operation to locate thirteen persons who went missing at Tham Luang cave in Chiang-Rai.  All thirteen persons which included twelve young soccer players and their coach were trapped in the flooded cave for ten days after went there by bicycle after soccer practice on 23 June 2018.  The search for these boys and coach has been the focus of attention of the entire nation for over a week. 

 

During late night of 2 July 2018, Thai people were overjoyed as breaking news reported that all members of the youth soccer team have been found safe and alive by the rescuers.  After the discovery of the boys and coach, the Prime Minister of Thailand thanked the rescue team and all relevant officials, especially the foreign experts including the Australian team, for their tremendous efforts in locating the missing persons.  The rescue operation is still undergoing to evacuate all thirteen persons for their safe return.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra joined the Thai Community in Australia in expressing on appreciation to the Australian for in its important and immediate decision to help rescue.
